- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, display name, and password (hashed securely). If you log in via Google Sign-In, we collect your Google ID, email, and name.
- Usage & Progress Data: We track your completed lessons, proficiency progress, vocabulary review history, and learning streaks to provide and personalize your learning experience.
- Device Information: We collect standard technical information such as device model, OS version, and performance statistics for debugging and crash logging.
- Telemetry & Analytics: We use optional analytics tracking (such as page views and interaction events) to understand how users interact with Banja and improve the application.
2How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Banja learning platform.
- Save your learning progress across devices.
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account.

4Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data and progress history only as long as your account remains active.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the application settings, or by visiting our data deletion page: banja.hooyolabs.com/delete-account.
- What is Deleted: Deleting your account permanently erases your email, display name, progress logs, streak history, and profile details from our active databases. This action is irreversible.
